The Lake Bluff Golf Club offers an extensive selection of group instructional programs throughout the summer. Programming includes clinics for adults, juniors, beginners, ladies, couples and families. Clinics are staffed by PGA Professionals with experience working with a wide variety of skill levels.
The group setting allows for individuals to enjoy learning the game with friends and family. The curriculum for the 2012 season has been designed to maximize development of every student. Junior Group Instruction
Junior Golf School
The Lake Bluff Golf Club’s Junior Golf School is designed to introduce juniors to the game of golf and develop their skills to participate at a competitive level in the future. The Junior Golf School has three levels of curriculum that include putting, short game and full swing instruction to achieve these goals.
Three levels of the Junior Golf School are offered during the summer. Level I (Age 8-10) focuses on the basic fundamentals of the golf swing. Curriculum is based around set-up, grip, short game and full swing. Level II (Age 11-12) will enhance the fundamentals taught in the previous level. Level II instruction will continue to focus on the key fundamentals while incorporating on-course situations. Level III (Age 13-15) will complete the curriculum of the Junior Golf School. Instruction will be centered around the individual student’s weaknesses providing them with the tools to play the game at a competitive level.

Golf After School Program
Open to junior golfers age 7 through 11, the Golf After School program is designed to introduce juniors to the game of golf. The professional staff will work with the junior golfers to establish sound fundamentals they can use as their game develops. Students will be escorted from the Lake Bluff Elementary School by a member of the Lake Bluff Park District Staff. Equipment storage or rental will be complimentary during the program.

Parent / Child Clinic
Open to junior golfers age 6 and older, the Parent / Child Clinic is designed to allow young junior golfers the ability to receive professional instruction while being accompanied by a parent. While the focus will be on introducing junior golfers to the game of golf, parents will also receive instruction on the basic fundamentals from the short game to the full swing. The fee for this clinic includes instruction for one parent and one child. Additional parents or children may attend for a fee of $30.
