Format
Individual Match Play (Flighted)

$25 / Person


Qualifying
Qualifying will take place between July 9 and 18.  Each participant has ONE opportunity to qualify for the match play.  The low 16 qualifiers will be seeded in a single elimination bracket.  Ties during qualifying will be broken by scorecard playoff beginning on the 18th hole and going backwards until a winner is determined.

Match Play Format
All matches will be played at scratch in flight.  If there is a tie after 18 holes, players will continue to the first tee and play in a sudden death format until a winner is determined.

Eligibility
The Lake Bluff Men’s Club Championship is open to all members of the Lake Bluff Golf Club, members of the Lake Bluff GC Men’s Club and any resident of Lake Bluff or Lake Forest, Illinois.  Any participants who do not have a valid USGA Handicap will be placed in the Championship Flight.

Flights
Championship Flight: 7.7 and Under USGA Index
“A” Flight: 7.8 - 11.3 USGA Index
“B” Flight: 11.4 - 15.0 USGA Index
“C” Flight: 15.1 - 19.3 USGA Index
“D” Flight: 19.4 and Over USGA Index

Participants in the “C” & “D” Flights will compete from the White Tees -- All others from the Black Tees

Prizes
Flight Champion: 1/2 off a 2011 Season Pass
Runner-Up: 1/2 of Qualifying Entry Fees in Flight
Low Qualifier: 1/2 of Qualifying Entry Fees in Flight

All prize money will be paid in the form of golf shop credit.

Non-Member Green Fees
Non-Members of the Lake Bluff Golf Club will be charged $25 for each round played during the competition.
