Lake Bluff Wednesday Men’s League

The Lake Bluff Men’s League is a 9-hole men’s golf league open to all players regardless of residence. Play is on Wednesday afternoons starting at 4:30 PM. An established handicap is preferred but not mandatory.

Teams/Format

Members are organized into teams consisting of up to five players. Individuals are encouraged to join and will be placed on a team with an opening.

Each week 2 players will represent their team and play 9 holes. Using a modified-Stableford format, points will be awarded to each player after adjusting for handicap – 1 point for bogey, 2 for par, 4 for birdie and 6 for eagle.

Team points are accumulated each week to determine the overall standings.

Regular Season/Playoffs

Play begins in late May and continues for 15 consecutive Wednesdays until late August. The season consists of 2 six-week halves followed by 2 weeks of playoffs and a season ending event, dinner and awards.

The first and second place teams in each half qualify for the Championship playoffs. The remaining teams compete in the 1st Flight Playoffs.

Fees

The league fee is $200 per team. This fee covers the prize money (75%) awarded at the end of the season to each team based on its performance. The balance (25%) covers a weekly skill prize and the season ending dinner.

Players who are not Lake Bluff season pass holders will pay a green fee and an optional cart fee.

Inclement Weather

League play will only be cancelled if the course is closed due to unplayable conditions.

Tuesday Niners League

The Tuesday Niners welcomes lady golfers to join us in our Tuesday morning nine-hole golf league. We tee off starting at 8:30 am from May through September.

Lake Bluff Ladies’ Golf Association

The Lake Bluff Ladies’ Golf Association welcomes lady golfers to join the Thursday morning 18-hole and 9-hole golf leagues. Tee times run between 6:30am and 9am. from April through September.

The Friday Fun League is a casual ladies league for ladies looking to join a fun, relaxed league that does not require a handicap membership or league fees.
